About the Author

Suz O’Donnell created Thrivatize to help leaders maximize success. As a mid-career mother, she has a special passion to support female leaders planning a family to not only maintain their seat at the table, but enhance their career development.

Her clients not only ensure their own career development path, but also drive increased performance for their entire team before, during, and after their maternity leave. Her favorite parts of every work day are the “ah-ha” moments her clients have and hearing about the personal goals they are achieving. 

Prior to Thrivatize, Suz spent 17 years working as a management consultant focused on helping individuals, teams and entire companies achieve, sustain and outperform their desired goals. She has led teams working on everything from leadership development programs to corporate change initiatives to sales and marketing development to global technology implementations and everything in between. 

She has played key roles in Cisco’s Business Transformation Team, Accenture’s Talent and Organization Performance Group, Gallup’s Employee and Customer Engagement Consulting Practice, and a variety of groups in Ernst & Young and Capgemini. Suz has worked with clients such as Eli Lilly, Walmart, Time Warner, Telefonica, U.S. Cellular, Kimberly-Clark, Vail Resorts, and Genentech-Roche.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and Masters in Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Suz is a certified executive coach, personal branding strategist, workshop leader, and keynote speaker.

She is also the proud mother of a hilarious boy, creative girl and friendly dog and is married to a wonderful man who helps her balance all the amazing things life and work offer.  She loves international travel, improv comedy, volunteering, and Zumba.
